Geriatrician

Frances is a geriatrician living and working on the Bellarine Peninsula. She completed her specialist physician training at Melbourne Health and Barwon Health. Frances is passionate about providing patient centred, quality, holistic health care to older people. Frances has experience in all areas of geriatric medicine, with particular interests in managing complex physical, mental and social needs, cognition and palliative care. Frances is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, has a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and a Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

Frances is accepting referrals only for patients in Residential Aged Care Facilities (nursing homes) on the Bellarine Peninsula (Portarlington, Drysdale, Ocean Grove), Leopold, and Bellarine Lakes. These comprehensive assessments are currently bulk billed with no out of pocket cost to patients in residential care. At this stage given demand Frances is unable to service referrals for home visits or clinic rooms.
